AFC Urgent Care Warrington provides high-quality care and treatment for an expansive range of non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries seven days a week. Our urgent care center is set up with state-of-the-art equipment allowing us to precisely diagnose injuries from digital X-Rays to our on-site laboratory, allowing us to perform bloodwork and other tests and provide efficient results within a few days rather than waiting weeks at an off-site facility. Conditions we treat include coughs, flu, lacerations, sprains, fractures, bruising, infections and colds, among others.
Minor Surgical Procedures
Our physicians are able to perform minor surgical procedures to treat injuries including stitching up cuts, removing foreign bodies and treating puncture wounds. Our center accepts walk-in patients, making our services available when your primary care physician may be closed or booked.
Digital X-Rays allow us to get a comprehensive look at your injury, zooming in and out to ensure full treatment for injuries sustained from falls, trips, sports accidents and minor car accidents. Some injuries we treat daily include sprains, strains, fractures, bumps, bruises and cuts, which can be stitched up, braced or cast in order to give the area the proper support to heal.
Our on-site laboratory has state-of-the-art equipment, allowing us to perform a wide range of tests including bloodwork, strep, flu, mono and STD tests. Since our work is performed on-site, we will be able to provide you with a quick diagnosis in order to begin the best treatment for your illness during your visit. Many of our tests can be processed and analyzed within minutes, with more comprehensive tests such as STD panels available within a few days.
Several physical exams are available at our urgent care center, including:
- DOT and Employment Physicals: Our center works with local businesses of all sizes to perform physical examinations to ensure that each employee is physically fit and capable of performing their job duties, including fulfilling DOT (Department of Transportation) requirements for commercial drivers.
- Immigration Physicals: A person applying for citizenship, a green card or permanent residence will be required to undergo a physical examination to determine if any medical conditions requiring immediate attention are present.
- School, Camp & Sports Physicals: Many local school districts require annual or pre-participation physicals to be on file at the start of each year or athletic season to ensure each student is healthy enough to partake and to have a record of any medical conditions that may require attention.
